Summer 2015. VOL.1 NO.3

SAYRA issue number 3 embraces an entrepreneurial theme featuring an interview with Wall St. legend Joe Plumeri. His strategy of “playing in traffic” connects to the passion in what we do. Our feature of Barbara Corcoran from “Shark Tank”, highlights great insights from hungry start up managers. Brinker Capital’s CEO Noreen Beaman shows us that it took an entrepreneur’s energy to grow her firm into an $18 billion TAMP. Plus other interviews and features meant to inspire the female financial advisor.

PREMIERE ISSUE FALL 2014. VOL.1 NO.1

I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome you to the first issue of “Sayra”, the magazine for female financial advisors. We named this publication after my grandmother, Sayra Lebenthal, whose picture adorns the cover. Sayra (or “Mrs. L” as she was known at the office), co-founded Lebenthal in 1925 with my grandfather, Louis Lebenthal, and from day one was dealing with clients. You can read a lot more about her in this issue on page 38 “Mama Don’t Preach.” This is a beautiful story about her work, her experience in our industry, and her undeniable strong personality and unique sense of humor. Suffice it to say, we couldn’t think of a better name for this magazine.

Fall/Winter Vol. 1 No. 2

Welcome to the latest edition of SAYRA Magazine. It gives me great satisfaction knowing that we are delivering a tool for the female
financial advisor that is not only useful but that also reflects who we are as a group. By that I mean colorful, savvy, hard-working, whip-smart, not stodgy or beholden to any old-boy-network, client-centric and empathetic. That is SAYRA, and that is you, the female financial advisor.
